Very Looong Update

Photo Sharing - Video Sharing - Photo Printing
In a few days, Callie will be 18 months old. She is looking more like a sweet little girl than my sweet baby girl now, and beginning to act more like a 2 year old...trying out even more independence, but in an "in-your-face-mom" kind of way. One day at a time, that's what I have to tell myself several times a day now. She is still a sweetie though and very smart too. We enjoy her so much and are very proud of her. She is also going to be a big sister at the end of October. Here's what she did when I told her.

Ok, not really, but this picture is priceless. This new baby is already challenging me with headaches, all-day-long sickness, exhaustion, etc. No doubt that I have the typical 1st trimester pregnancy symptoms this time...all of them! Looking back, Callie's pregnancy was a breeze compared to this one. This may also be why Callie seems more challenging these days too...it's hard to keep up with a toddler when the only thing that makes me feel better is to lie down. At the same time, we are so excited for this new little life God has given us, so I guess I'm up for the challenge and will just have to be sick and exhausted with happiness each time our family grows. Who needs sleep anyway?! Ok, here are more pics so many of you will be happy to see.

Callie loves to lie down in the bath tub now and thinks it's hilarious to lick the bubbles.

Callie's best buddy, Brody...what a handsome man!

Brody and Callie in time-out...just kidding! They were bouncing in her crib and both decided to kneel down an peek out the opening at the same time. I just happened to have the camera at that moment. Very cute!

For family night, we went to a Parents As Teachers event with lots of activities based on the book, The Grouchy Ladybug. Callie and her friends had a great time with the ladybug balloons.

Eli, Callie's man, loved swinging the ladybug balloons around!

Eli has a great sense of humor...this picture rocks! :)

Callie and daddy spent some time together doing the activities. Callie loves daddy time, and check out who still loves the ladybug balloons in the background.

Jack is a multi-tasker, helping his mommy, Tori do his project while enjoying a cup of tea!

One of my favorite pics, Callie and daddy having a tea party with a "bug-themed" tea set.

And, my other favorite, sitting like a big girl with daddy.

Ok, so now you can all get off my poor, pregnant, nauseous, exhausted, permanent head-ached, short-tempered, mood swinging back about posting, when I really should be resting. You should all feel ashamed for putting this kind of pressure on me when it's all Jamie's fault that I feel this way in the first place. :) Until next time...whenever that may be.

Love the post! They are growing up so fast and I'm so happy that they get to spend time together. One of these days they'll actually run up to each other, say each other's name, and give each other a hug....how cute will that be!

Hope you feel better soon-congrats!

I love pregnancy, but I really hate it when morning sickness sets in. When I was having my morning sickness weeks, the only thing that helped get me by was my home remedies. It's not as effective as anti emetic medications, but it's a whole lot safer, and does the trick as well.
