Pretend play and games

Callie has really gotten into the pretend play in the last month or 2. (If you need a b.day present idea, think pretend play objects.) We've been going to "Parents As Teachers" events ever since she was just months old and now that she is almost 2, she's really able to do almost all of the activities by herself now, so it's time well spent playing educational games and practicing pretend play. Here are the pics from this morning's event called "Teddy Bear's Picnic."

Callie is matching noses to animals--2 so far...

A "Teddy Bear Picnic" with her man, Eli. I like how she's making him serve her food. That's my girl! Hee hee!

"smooshing" play-doh,

very focused on her play-see the tongue? :)

Stacking some large blocks.

And giving herself a kiss bye-bye in the silly mirrors.

She's really doing well in all areas and continues to improve and practice her vocabulary too. Get ready because I think soon, she will start talking everyone's ears off!

How are you all doing? Callie looks good. Glad she has her "noses" down! Keep telling her about Jesus! Hey, get into skype so we can call you on the internet [for free] and you can see and talk to our kids.
